Crystals & Gemstones share their magic

Crystals & Gemstones share their magic

Spirited Kidz

Dear Crazy-4-Crystals Mum,
Shakespeare said, “All that glisters is not gold” and he was right! Sometimes it takes a crystal to add some sparkle to our lives.
From China’s 3,000-year-old love affair with the royal gem, Jade (even Confucius gave it the thumbs up) to God’s instructions to Moses to build a high priests’ breastplate adorned with twelve empowering gemstones, to the ancient writings of Hinduism that applauded the mystic power of Emeralds, to the Queen of England’s Diamond Jubilee this year, a passion for gemstones and crystals spans history, culture and religion. So what’s the true value of crystals and should we use them with our spirited kids?
From a purely scientific perspective, crystals fall into the extraordinary bracket. With their perfectly repeated structures and their incredible, amplifying and absorbing properties, as well as their marked ability to conduct energy from one source to another (just think about that clear quartz twinkling away inside your spirited kid’s digital watch or your new smartphone) crystals are not just pretty to look at, they’re functional too. Of course, crystals and gemstones have been popular with us intuitive, right-brained thinkers for eons.
